Emergency Care

Our accident and emergency department is a functional medical treatment facility specializing in emergency medicine, the acute care of patients who present without prior appointment; either by their own means or by that of an ambulance.

Operation Theatre

When you need an operation, you want to know that you are in the most capable, compassionate hands around. We are equipped to deal with various situations requiring surgery with our plethora of specialized surgeons.

Patient Care

We are committed to a satisfactory patient experience with the health care system, including their care from health plans, and from doctors, nurses, and staff of the hospital; to ensure an excellent recovery process for our patients.

Radiological Service

We offer a wide range of radiodiagnostic services to the hospital community and other neighbouring hospitals, serving as a tertiary referral centre for other government hospitals and private hospitals beyond Plateau state.

Laboratory Service

We embark on training, research and laboratory services, amongst other diagnostic services, to patients of the hospital and other public and private hospitals within Plateau and surrounding states.

Pharmaceutical Services

We deliver an integrated and inclusive pharmaceutical service to the hospital and the public, including, management of drug funds, pharmacovigilance support, small scale manufacturing and training, amongst others.

General Out-Patient Department (GOPD)

A clinic is a place in a hospital designed for medical care or treatment that does not require an overnight stay in a hospital or medical facility. GOPD is a clinic that receives a patient with any type of health problem.

A patient is most likely treated successfully at the GOPD or referred to an appropriate clinic for more specialized medical care by a General Physician. A patient is therefore expected to FIRST see a doctor at GOPD being run daily between 7.00 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. every Mondays to Fridays.

The POPD clinic sees medical problems related to children of ages from zero to 17 years old, who may not require an overnight stay in the hospital.
